12 May 2012 - Ishajaya awarded for top sales

ISHAJAYA Technology Sdn Bhd recently received Dell's "Most Valuable Enterprise Partner Award" for achieving the top sales in the country.

"There are only two of these awards in Asia, and this was for our performance in 2011," said Vincent Lee, head of business development, who was present to receive the award on behalf of Ishajaya. The "Dell Channel Summit 2012" was held in Kuala Lumpur. He added that the award was based on their US$2.5 million project with the Ministry of Health.

"We were awarded with the Brunei Healthcare Information Management System (Bru-HIMS) project last year and it included us supplying eight units of compellent, and 70 units of Power Edge R710," he said.

Ishajaya partnered with Dell early last year, when previously they were partnered with IBM, Lee said that the change was because the company felt that Dell was "a better fit". "This award motivates us as a valued partner, and not only for revenue but to push Dell products across the country," he said.
