19 December 2020 - 12th anniversary of Ishajaya Technology

Ishajaya Technology celebrated their 12 years anniversary, from the first moment it was founded, to present date, at the Brunei River Cruise located at Jalan Kota Batu on the 19th of December, Saturday. It was an event to celebrate the continued success of the company's plans and projects over the past years. Foods and drinks were also provided to appreciate the employees and their families upon their continuous support towards the company. Not only that, but the view from the deck of the cruise became an attraction to many on board, providing a sense of relaxation and leisure from the workload and energy put in, for the growth of the company.

This event was suggested by the CEO of the company, Elvin Hii and made to reality by the HR of the company, Christina Boon and also including the rest of the employees working in the company who attended the event with happy smiles and laughters. This was the chance given to the employees to be able to bond and further improve their colleague relationship which aids a great deal in terms of working together as a team. 11 December 2019 - Baiduri signing of agreement with Ishajaya Technology Sdn Bhd and SAP Malaysia Sdn Bhd

Baiduri Bank signed an agreement with Ishajaya Technology Sdn Bhd and SAP Malaysia Sdn Bhd to implement a new comprehensive human resources solution, as it continues its commitment to building the capabilities of its human capital. The signing ceremony took place at Baiduri Bank Headquarters in Kiarong recently.

Called SAP Success Factors, the cloud-based software is one of the largest Human Capital Management systems in the world with over 100 million users worldwide. Ishajaya Technology Sdn Bhd will be the local support and implementation partner for SAP Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

The Human Resources suite will cover core human resources processes and major pillars of talent management that include recruiting, learning, performance management, compensation, employee onboarding, and succession and development. The aim of this new solution will be to provide the bank with the talent solutions and tools to produce, measure and improve its business results through its personnel.

Signing the agreement on behalf of Baiduri Bank was Chief Executive Officer Ti Eng Hui, while SAP Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Brunei Country Manager) Khoo Chee Wei and Ishajaya Technology Chief Executive Officer Elvin Hii signed on their companies behalf.

Ti elaborated on the bank’s commitment to invest in the future generation of leaders to face brand new challenges in the banking industry, and at the same time contributing to the efforts in reaching the goals of Brunei Vision 2035 – one of which is making Brunei a nation widely recognised for the accomplishment of its educated and highly-skilled people. The vision also aligns with the Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD) Financial Sector Blueprint 2016-2025 of developing human capital, addressing skill-gaps and educating locals toward the financial sector, which is critical to Brunei’s economic diversification.

01 September 2016 - Ishajaya, friends donate blood

ISHAJAYA Technology Sdn Bhd (Ishajaya) yesterday gave back to the society by conducting a blood donation drive.

The drive, in collaboration with the Blood Donation Centre at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital, was held at the premises of the IT firm and was part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

The two-hour campaign, which collected 25 pints of blood from employees and members of the public, was aimed at instilling a sense of responsibility in saving lives and helping those in need through the act of giving blood. It was also aimed at helping to maintain the supply at RIPAS’ Blood Donation Centre.

16 June 2015 - A Closer Look into RFID Technology

A presentation on Borda Technology's RFID Real-Time Tracking Solution and RFID Asset Management Solution products was held yesterday at the Badi'ah Hotel, Batu Satu.

The presentation, which was organised by Ishajaya Technology Sdn Bhd, was given by the Co-Founder and CEO of Borda Technology, Akin Altunbas. The presentation was attended by representatives from various fields in the government, semi-government and private sector.

According to Akin Altunbas, the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology is an auto identification technology allowing asset inventory count that takes only one day compared to other systems which can take weeks.

He said Borda Technology offers tags for many kinds of assets. "Even if the asset is small in size, there are special tags for them. Whether it be metal or plastic, we can track them." ©BRUDIRECT.COM

21 December 2014 - iFlyBrunei app launched to assist air travellers

A MOBILE application, iFlyBrunei, was launched yesterday to provide the public, especially passengers, with access to the latest information on flights, safety regulations and the services and facilities at the Brunei International Airport.

The chief guest, Pehin Orang Kaya Hamzah Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdullah bin Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Haji Bakar, Minister of Communications, launched the app during the International Civil Aviation Day at the Royal Brunei Recreational Club, Berakas. The iFlyBrunei app is one of the initiatives taken by the Civil Aviation Department in support of the ministry’s vision to have a “smart society” by 2017.

The public can download the iFlyBrunei app from the Google Play Store and iOs Apple App Store.

Also in attendance during the event were Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yusof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Communications (MinCom); Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mohd Yunos, Deputy Permanent Secretary at MinCom; and other senior officials.

28 March 2015 - Ishajaya Technology Sdn Bhd holds blood donation drive

ISHAJAYA Technology Sdn Bhd in collaboration with the Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) yesterday conducted a blood donation drive at the Ishajaya Technology Sdn Bhd office in Beribi, Gadong, where a total of 19 employees contributed to the donation.

This is the first time Ishajaya Technology Sdn Bhd has conducted a blood donation drive at its office with the objective of contributing and saving lives as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

The campaign was also aimed at encouraging the staff of the company to donate blood to help those who are in need and to save people’s lives in addition to strengthening the blood bank at the JPMC.

19 September 2014 - 16 attend workshop on business software

SAP'S only value-added reseller in Brunei Darussalam, Ishajaya Technology Sdn Bhd, yesterday held a workshop on one of the software brand’s solutions.

A total of 16 participants from the public and private sector attended a workshop on SAP BusinessObjects held at Ishajaya Technology’s Main Office in Beribi.

The SAP BusinessObjects Workshop, which is a follow-up event from the recent SAP Technology Innovation Summit 2014, was targeted at the business users in customer organisation who have a responsibility for developing reports and analysing business data.

The workshop, which was facilitated by Senior Solution Advisor from SAP Ho Wai Kit and supported by colleague Anil Dogra, offered the participants a hands-on workshop to “test drive” one of the SAP Analytics solutions, the SAP Lumira.

From this workshop, participants were able to experience how easy it is to combine data from multiple sources, visualise it, analyse trends, and share insights on the Business Intelligence platform.

Ishajaya’s impressive track record and excellent delivery results included SAP® Malaysia Partner Excellence Award 2013 for ‘Best Newcomer of the Year’.
